class pyqit.core.embeddings.IQPEmbedding(n_qubits: int)[source]#

Bases: BaseEmbedding

IQP feature map of Havlicek et al. (2019), PennyLane’s IQPEmbedding.

Takes one feature per wire, prescaled the way AngleEmbedding is. Needs at least two qubits.

Parameters:

n_qubits (int)

forward(inputs)[source]#

Apply the IQP feature map. Expects inputs scaled to [0, pi].
